Institute (SCLI) is the capacity-building arm of Sambodhi Research and
Communications, dedicated to advancing knowledge, skills, and sectoral
expertise in research, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), public policy, social
impact, and data analytics. SCLI’s mission is to promote and simplify
functional and sector-specific knowledge in these domains by offering
short-to-mid-term international and regional training courses and workshops on

Job Title Senior Manager – Capacity Building

Job Summary Sambodhi Research
and Communications Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven
professional with a proven track record in leading and managing
capacity-building initiatives in the social impact space. The ideal candidate
will have experience in designing, executing, and scaling capacity-building
programs for individuals and institutions in the social sector.
Essential Functions
The candidate will
perform the following key functions:
§ Business Development:
o Develop and execute strategies
for marketing and business plans, identifying opportunities for both new and
existing clients. This includes tracking upcoming RFPs, leading proposal
development teams, and building a network of relevant stakeholders to drive
business growth.
§ Project Management:
o Assist in designing and
implementing innovative capacity development curricula focused on monitoring,
learning, and evaluation (M&E). This includes delivering training on data
analysis for a variety of stakeholders, such as government officials and civil
society professionals.
o Manage Sambodhi’s capacity
building portfolio, ensuring high-quality delivery and coordination with
partners, consultants, vendors, and government agencies.
o Lead internal teams and project
leads to ensure the effective execution of capacity development initiatives.
§ Team Management:
o Foster organizational growth by
developing internal competencies and enhancing the skill set of the team.
§ Enhancing Branding and Visibility
of the Business Unit:
o Contribute to the organization's
thought leadership through publications, webinars, and participation in forums
focused on M&E and research.
